Uninsured motorist coverage is important! So important, in fact, you better pay attention.

Uninsured motorist coverage protects both you and your family if you are injured in a crash that was caused by someone with no insurance coverage.

DRIVING IN CONNECTICUT WITHOUT INSURANCE IS ILLEGAL…

But it’s done all of the time. Many drivers do not have insurance. So what happens if you get hurt? Injured parties can use their own insurance to get compensated for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering. A couple options available to you are Uninsured motorist bodily Injury Coverage and Uninsured Motorist Property Damage Coverage. Bodily Injury Coverage takes care of medical expenses, lost wages, emotional distress, pain and suffering. Property Damage Coverage handles damages to your vehicle. A Noteworthy Win

In a recent case, Attorney Namnoum won a jury trial, and the verdict and final judgment were more than seven times the insurance company’s last and best offer. The insurance company denied that their driver was at fault. However, after hearing the testimony of Attorney Namnoum’s client, and after hearing Attorney Namnoum’s final argument, the jury ruled that the insurance company was 100% at fault. The insurance company also denied that Attorney Namnoum’s client was injured. However, after hearing testimony of the client and Attorney Namnoum’s final argument, the jury’s verdict was more than five times greater than what a judge stated was the value at a pre-trial conference.

This victory was an important win for the common person, who in the face of resource-backed insurance companies, needs an attorney who is ready, willing and able to fight in court.

We’ve Made The Top 10!

The Law Office of Kenneth P. Namnoum Jr. is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of the TOP 10 Attorney Award for the state of Connecticut, bestowed by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys (NAOPIA).

NAOPIA, from their own description, “was established in 2013 with the primary goal of discovering and recognizing the top 10 Personal Injury attorneys in each state for their hard work,” and gave some insight into the selection process:

“The attorneys who make the NAOPIA TOP 10 list must first be nominated by a licensed attorney or one of our in-house research staff members, and then our research staff verifies that they meet the minimum requirements of membership. Fifty of the nominated attorneys are chosen to advance to the final selection stage by our Selection Committee, and then our Board of Governors officially selects the TOP 10 in each state.”
